3 types of behavior

Human behavior moves within three categories:

- Passive
- Aggressive
- Assertive

This division is purely theoretical because each of us constantly shifts from one behavior to another, and moving towards increasingly assertive behavior is the goal.

Passive or aggressive behavior is inevitably the source of the social discomfort we feel. Conversely, assertive behavior is the key to our success and well-being.

Each person exhibits both aggressive and passive or assertive behaviors. Therefore, people and personalities can be defined as follows:

Aggressive: Thinks only of oneself and oppresses others with violence.

Passive: Always puts others ahead of oneself.

Assertive: Puts oneself first but takes others into consideration.
